Flights

There are two international airports for getting to Paphos:

• Paphos, which is about 15-20 minutes from the apartments by car/taxi and
• Larnaca, at the Eastern end of the island, 140 Km away.
  The time taken to get from Larnaca depends on the time of day and the traffic. The road is good and dual carriageway pretty much all the way. Allow a minimum of 1.5 hours (100 kmph speed limit on motorway).

The airports are serviced by number of airlines, both scheduled and charter. Some only fly in summer.

Do not assume that it is always cheaper the earlier you book. If you try to book more than one 'season' ahead the airlines may not have worked out their price structures. Unfortunately, it's just a matter of getting exactly the right time!
(Easyjet publish the dates when they make their new prices available. For them, these are the best dates to book.)

It is often cheaper to purchase tickets direct or via the internet. Try a mix of travel agencies, comparison sites like Skyscanner or Kayak and direct ticket purchase either by phone or online.

We are not including names of relevant airlines here as they change from season to season. The main point is to book ahead - but not too far ahead.
