There are many options for long and short walks using Paphos as a base.
Paphos itself is developing a walking route along the sea,
away from cars, from the airport to beyond Coral Bay. The paved path now
extends from Yeroskipou beach to the Tombs of the Kings, around 7 Km. Further
stretches are being developed.
It is also possible to walk to Coral Bay and beyond, hardly touching the
road, if you are willing to go on some walkable rougher stretches - a total
distance of some 25 km from the airport and around 16-17 km from the harbour to
the bus terminal at the Corallia Beach Hotel, depending on route taken.
This path is very close to the apartment, so allows for
a traffic-free short-cut to the harbour and pleasant walks in both directions.

Cars are only a relatively recent introduction to this island where farming, forestry and hunting have existed for hundreds of years.
There are therefore many traditional trails as well as those marked for walking and trekking.
Details of local routes are available in the books and information brochures in the apartment.
Within easy reach there are a number of marked routes around both the Akamas Peninsula and in the Troodos mountains. It is also possible to walk along the tracks through vineyards as long as you do no damage.
